50th Reunion

Class of 1969

In honor of our milestone reunion, the 50th Reunion Committee will set an overall fundraising goal. We ask each class member to step up and play a part in achieving this goal in honor of this very special occasion.

Dear Friends:

Homecoming 2018 is in the history books and members of our class are already looking ahead to Fall 2019 and our Fiftieth Class Reunion.  This coming year is an exciting time for our Georgia Tech classmates as we celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of our graduation from Georgia Tech.

As chair of the Class of 1969 50th Reunion Committee, I invite you to come back to Georgia Tech for Homecoming & Reunion Weekend 2019.  Our main objective is to have a successful reunion.  In addition to renewing relationships, making new friends and reminiscing about our years on campus, we will host a class reunion party on Friday evening and on Saturday, you and your family can enjoy the Cake Race, Ramblin’ Wreck Parade, Ramblin’ Wreck Rally Tailgate and the GT football game.

Homecoming & Reunion Weekend is a longstanding tradition at Georgia Tech. In addition to coming home to Georgia Tech to visit with classmates and friends, that tradition includes making a 50th Reunion gift to our alma mater. Our Reunion Committee will set an overall fundraising goal and I invite you to join our class in making a gift of any level to Georgia Tech in honor of this milestone reunion.

I am really looking forward to our 50th Class Reunion and hope you will make plans to be in Atlanta in the Fall of 2019.  Once an official Homecoming date has been announced, you will receive more information about our special reunion plans.

Sincerely,
Ted Thacker, EE
