Stay Connected

Stay updated on news and events, share memories, and connect with old friends by signing up for your class book and following the Georgia Tech Alumni Association on social media. Find ways to get involved and alumni event information at gtalumni.org. Fill out the questionnaire and create a page in the Reunion Class Book to let us know what you've been up to.

But the best way to connect is in person—that’s why we hope to see you at the reunion!

Dear Friends:

Class of 1984, it’s been 40 years since we “got out!” We have a great opportunity to commemorate our time at Tech by reconnecting with classmates and friends virtually and during Homecoming & Reunion Weekend. Our class swarm starts now with your participation in supporting class goals leading up to November 7-9, 2024. I hope to see you in person on North Avenue.

Reunions are a longstanding tradition at Georgia Tech. If you haven’t been to Homecoming in some time, festivities include campus tours, seminars, our class reunion party, the Mini 500, the Ramblin’ Reck Parade and various other traditions. This year, the homecoming game will be GT Yellow Jackets vs the Miami Hurricanes. You do not want to miss this. Event online registration will open in August. Stay tuned.

Another reunion tradition is members of this class selecting meaningful ways to leave a lasting legacy for the Class of 1984. That includes making a reunion gift to our alma mater. Our reunion planning committee will set a class fundraising goal, and I invite you to join our class in making a gift of any level to Georgia Tech in honor of this milestone Reunion.

In the meantime, let’s start our class swarm now by creating a pages in our online Reunion Class Book. This virtual book allows us to start reconnecting and renewing friendships by sharing what we’ve been doing since graduation and browsing and tagging classmates we remember. We would love to see pictures of you and your family as well as learn about your memorable GT experiences. To view these memories or share your own, click on the Class Book link above or type https://gatech.brightcrowd.com/1984 in your web browser.

Fall will be here before you know it. I hope you will make plans to attend our class reunion party on Friday, November 8, during Homecoming & Reunion Weekend to toast each other and celebrate the 40 years that have passed since we “got out.” It will definitely be a weekend to remember!

Check back here for updates and Go Jackets!
